My understanding of how the mind works, the ability to explain it in everyday language (local style) and more importantly how to use this knowledge in everyday life, especially in education, is what I consider my greatest gift.
I was born and raised in Hawaiˋi. After retiring from the military I worked for General Electric Nuclear Inspections Services Division for five years. During that time I continued my personal education. I studied not only the western and eastern ideas and methods of education and healing but also my ancestral roots and their beliefs on education and healing as well. My understanding of how the mind works, the ability to explain it in everyday language (local style) and more importantly how to use this knowledge in everyday life, especially in education, is what I consider my greatest gift. I am a Hoˋoponopono and Laˋau kahea practitioner. My form of cultural healing is primarily based on Aunty Morrnah Simeona’s works and beliefs.
